The Pool 3 clash Paris V Sale Sharks in Round 3 is set to break the record for the biggest attendance at a Heineken Cup Pool game.
Stade's president Max Gauzzini opted to switch the match of the third round to the former home of French rugby, Parc des Princes, and his decision has already ensured the Parisians will smash the Heineken Cup Pool attendance record.
With just over a week to go to the match on Sunday, 10 December, Stade have already broken the Toulouse landmark of 34,000 set last year when they played London Wasps at Le Stadium. With only 7,000 tickets left, Gauzzini is confident of a 45,000 sell-out.

"Playing at the ground in front of 45,000 fans will make the players feel stronger and quicker. It will be a great experience for my team," said Sale coach and former French international Philippe Saint Andre.
"I was born in a generation of players who played at the ground, and not Stade de France, and it is a great stadium worthy of hosting this huge game in the Heineken Cup. It will be like playing an international."
