Heineken Cup final sales top 30,000

Over 30,000 tickets have already been sold for the London 07 Heineken Cup final at the Twickenham Stadium on Sunday, 20 May, 2007...
And ERC, the tournament organisers, today (Wednesday, 13 December) announced that the climax to the 12th tournament will have a 2.30 pm kick-off with the redevelopment of the stadium enabling a crowd of 82,000 to be at European club rugby's annual showpiece occasion.
It will be the fourth Heineken Cup final played on a Sunday - the previous occasions were in Cardiff in 1996, Twickenham in 2004 and Murrayfield in 2005 - with the record attendance for a Heineken Cup final the 74,600 at the 2002 final between Leicester Tigers and Munster at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
