Austin Healey - a double Heineken Cup winner with Leicester Tigers in 2001 and 2002 - is tipping Stade Français Paris to win the first leg of their Pool 3 double-header against English champions Sale Sharks at Parc des Princes on Sunday afternoon...
Former England and British and Irish Lions scrum half Healey is an ambassador for the London 07 final being staged at Twickenham on Sunday, 20 May, 2007.
And he is relishing the mouth-watering contests coming up at the weekend when the Heineken Cup resumes with teams facing the first of back-to-back matches that could go a long way to determining knock-out stage qualification and rankings.
"It is great that it is set to be a record crowd at Parc des Princes, which is a great stadium, and it really is a huge game," said Healey, who won the man of the match awards in both those Tigers' triumphs over Stade Français Paris and then Munster.
"But I really cannot see Stade losing - especially as Sale have lost Charlie Hodgson in particular with a bad knee injury."
And the contest at the old home of the national French side has attracted a tournament record crowd for a Pool match, advance sales already eclipsing the 34,000 who watched Toulouse beat London Wasps at Le Stadium last season, and the stadium reaching sold out status on Friday.
