Ospreys coach Lyn Jones admitted his side's victory over Calvisano was a game to forget about - but they achieved what they wanted with five points...
His side claimed the bonus point win with a four try performance against the Italian club, but they struggled and stuttered in wet and windy conditions.
Prop Adam Jones was the man-of-the-match, the scorer of his side's third try from close range and a regular ball carrier in the difficult weather.
"It's one of those performances we need to put a line under and forget about. We got what we wanted out of the game, so move on," said a philosophical Jones.
"We hoped to build on last week's performance but we didn't.
"Anyone who has played rugby knows how difficult those conditions can be to play in. It wasn't a great performance but we got what we wanted out of the game. It is a win on the wall, but a lot to reflect on.
"We always had it in us to score four tries or more. The media may have been expecting 50 points but people need to appreciate how difficult it can be.
"At this stage we normally talk about teams losing but now we can talk about beating Stade Francais here and moving onto the final weekend."
