Hat-trick hero Lewis Moody still reckons that the destiny of Pool 4 will still go down to the wire with a final shoot out with reigning champions Munster in Round 6...
Moody took just 29 seconds to notch the first of his three tries in a 57-3 Leicester Tigers win over Bourgoin that lifted the former double champions to 14 points.
"There is a great spirit around the club at the moment. It has been rejuvenating for the international players and has enabled us to get over the stresses and strains of the previous month," said Moody.
"It was frustrating putting 28 points on the board in the first half in Bourgoin and then not getting the bonus point. Getting the bonus point this week was very important and we were pleased to get it over and done with so early in the game.
"We loved every minute of it out there and we played with a smile on out faces. The good thing is that we didn't let things slip in the second half as we had done the previous week.
"We won through sheer doggedness up front in Bourgoin. This time we moved the ball through hands and showed what we can do with our backs.
"It is still a very difficult group for us to get out of but we have certainly regained our confidence after that first round defeat to Munster.
"Cardiff Blues have got to come here after Christmas and we have not only got to beat them, but also get a bonus point. That's going to be very difficult because they are a tough side who we only just managed to beat at the Millennium Stadium.
"Then we have got to go to Thomond Park to face Munster and do what no other team had done in the Heineken Cup, beat them there.
"It's a huge ask but we are really looking forward to the challenge.
