"Toulouse are probably the form team in the competition and playing some fantastic rugby. It's down to us to prepare ourselves to beat them.
A 29-13 triumph over Leinster in Dublin set up today's clash of the champions with Toulouse - both clubs have appeared in three finals and each lifted the trophy twice - at the newest tournament venue of the Walkers Stadium.
Flanker Lewis Moody, one of eight Leicester Tigers players selected for the British and Irish Lions summer tour to New Zealand, was the Heineken Man-of-the-Match at Lansdowne Road but is only looking for a Tigers win on Sunday.
"I'd just be happy with us winning the game and getting into the final," said the England back row star. "Obviously, if I have a good game then that's fantastic as well, but I think we're motivated by wanting to go out there and perform and win and that's the way it's always been. It's a big challenge this time around.
"Toulouse are probably the form team in the competition and playing some fantastic rugby. It's down to us to prepare ourselves to beat them.
"Different teams offer different problems and it's just a massive game. We have to sit down and go through their strengths and weaknesses and figure out where we can best expose them.
"That's all part of the mental focus; the physical side comes about on the training ground where we'll make sure that we are all in tune with each other.
"They have got a lot of talented players, but they've also had a lot of experience of winning and we know they're dangerous whenever there's a turnover because of their flair and their passion.
"We are not too familiar with them and I think it's going to be a close game."
Despite the possible absence of Martin Corry, the Tigers can boast other World Cup winners Julian White, Martin Johnson, Ben Kay, Neil Back and Moody, with the latter adding: "There is a lot of experience in the team - a lot of guys in the squad have played a lot of Test and Heineken Cup rugby and it helps the squad.
"We have also got Will Johnson, Leon Lloyd and Geordan Murphy - the list is endless, although I shouldn't forget Austin Healey there! We've had a fantastic squad for years and, as long we're in the right frame of mind, we'll be okay."
When the curtain falls on the season, club captain Martin Johnson and flanker Back will have pulled on a Tigers jersey for the last time with coach John Wells also departing for new challenges.
"That is not what motivates us," said Moody. "It is something we rarely speak about, except when we're ribbing them about getting really old and long in the tooth! As a team, you're motivated by winning and I think that's the case for them and the rest of the squad.
"If we win and we send them off in style, then that's the way it is, but I think your motivation should come from wanting to win and you can celebrate the rest afterwards … if you've won."
