Alain Rolland will make it eight out of eight when he referees the Heineken Cup semi-final between Leicester Tigers and Toulouse at Walkers Stadium on Sunday, 24 April (15.30).
The leading Irish official - who controlled last season's Twickenham thriller when London Wasps beat Toulouse 27-20 - is now the only referee to have been an ever-present during the 10th anniversary season of the tournament.
The 39-year-old, who made five Heineken Cup appearances as a player for Leinster in the 1996 / 1997 tournament, will be taking charge of his 20th tournament tie.
Tony Spreadbury has been appointed to referee the all-French semi-final affair between Stade Franais Paris and Biarritz Olympique at Parc des Princes on Saturday, 23 April (16.00).
It will be the English official's 21st Heineken Cup appointment - including taking over in the 2003 final between Toulouse and Perpignan at Lansdowne Road when Chris White was injured during the match.
And he is no stranger to taking charge of two French teams as he was in the middle last season when Toulouse and Biarritz Olympique met at Stade Chaban-Delmas, Bordeaux, at the same stage of the competition.
