More than 25,000 tickets have been snapped up for the 10th anniversary Heineken Cup Final in Edinburgh on Sunday, 22 May - and that's before the 15,000 tickets that are reserved for the two cup final teams have been taken into account.
It means that European club rugby's finest showpiece occasion is set for another bumper day out with the Scottish capital, and the home of Scottish rugby, ready to put on a stunning show.
"Ticket sales are progressing nicely and with eight fantastic teams left in the tournament we are bound to end up with another great showdown for the coveted Heineken Cup at Murrayfield," said ERC chief executive Derek McGrath.
"Fans across Europe have already bought in excess of 25,000 tickets and we expect another burst of sales once the knock-out phase of the tournament kicks-off in April.
Edinburgh will be the fifth major European capital city ot host the Heineken Cup Final, following in the footsteps of Cardiff, Paris, Dublin and London, and Murrayfield will be the sixth venue to stage the biggest club game in world rugby."
Murrayfield has a capacity of 67,800 and will provide the Heineken Cup Final with its fourth highest attendance if it fills to capacity.
