Heineken Cup fever is sweeping across Ireland, with fans snapping up over 31,000 tickets for Leinster's quarterfinal against Leicester Tigers in Lansdowne Road on April 2nd (KO: 5.15pm).
Between Leinster season ticket holders, sponsors, clubs and schools there has been huge interest as Leinster bid for a semi final berth in European rugby's premier club competition.
Tickets will go on sale from a number of outlets around the province from Wednesday, February 9th. (Locations/Prices listed below)
There will be limited Family tickets (2 adult & 2 children in family section - East Upper Stand) available online from
www.leinsterrugby.ie at a cost of €90 from Monday, February 21st.
Speaking on Tuesday, Leinster Chief Executive Mick Dawson said: "There has been phenomenal interest already and we're anticipating a full house of 48,000. This is a wonderful opportunity for those who don't have access to international tickets to see world class players of the calibre of Brian O'Driscoll, Gordon D'Arcy, Malcolm O'Kelly, Martin Johnson and Geordan Murphy. Leicester are one of the biggest draws in world rugby and as two times winners of the Heineken Cup will be formidable opponents.
"I am confident that the Leinster public will wear their colours and get right behind the team once more in Lansdowne Road."
