Wales fly half Stephen Jones - who won his 50th cap for his country on 19 November in the match against South Africa - is set to win a second ERC Elite Award when he plays his 50th Heineken Cup match.
Jones has played in 49 tournament matches - 48 for Llanelli Scarlets and one for ASM Clermont Auvergne - and is on target to become the 18th player to make 50 Heineken Cup appearances when ASM Clermont Auvergne meet Stade Francais Paris in Round 3 at Marcel-Michelin on Saturday, 10 December.
Jones already has one ERC Elite Award having topped 500 tournament points. He currently stands on 564 Heineken Cup points.
