Connacht coach Michael Bradley has seized the underdogs tag for their European Challenge Cup semi-final against Sale Sharks - the First Leg being played in Galway Saturday lunchtime and the return at Edgeley Park on Sunday, 24 April.
The massive interest in the match in front of the Sky Sports cameras has led to Connacht installing temporary seating and expecting up to 7,500 fans.
"Sale have to be the favourites for the tournament title," declared Bradley. "Their position in the Zurich Premiership speaks for itself and they are a very good side with a lot of confident players in their squad.
"Their recent form without their top players has not been quite so productive but with players such as Mark Cueto, Charlie Hodgson, Andy Titterrell, Chris Jones, Jason White, Sebastien Bruno and Sebastien Chabal - who all played in the Six Nations - back on club duty it makes them a very powerful side indeed.
"We are not expecting Jason Robinson to be fit for the First Leg - and we have no problem with that! Jason is a big factor in their attacking play and, without wishing him any ill-will, it would be an advantage to us if he was not on the field.
"Even if Jason doesn't play we will have to be very focused to put one over Sale."
Connacht were edged out on a minus four points difference over their two leg semi-final with eventual Cup winners NEC Harlequins, beating the London club 23-18 in Galway.
"Just like Harlequins last season, Sale will be bringing a lot of talented, big-name players to Galway and they will be faced by a capacity crowd in what will certainly be another massive day for Connacht.
"We have learnt from our semi-final experiences of last season when we were extremely disappointed not to qualify for the final. We want to go one better this time and, while Saturday will be a big day, it will be an even bigger day of we reach the final.
"We will just do our normal job - study the opposition, pinpoint their strengths and weaknesses and then go out and give it everything.
"Come Saturday we will certainly be looking for a great performance from the team and being home in the first match does mean a victory is important."
Connacht had a bye and a weekend off from Celtic League action while Sale were pipped 27-25 by London Wasps at Edgeley Road in a storming Zurich Premiership encounter.
The Sharks stay in the Premiership top three but are now just two points clear of the chasing pack.
