Bayonne and Auch clash at Stade Jean Dauger in the First Leg of their European Shield semi-final on Friday night with Auch captain Gregory Patat confident his side know exactly what to expect from Bayonne.
"They are a team we know very well, almost by heart," said Patat. "We share many of the same objectives - including winning the semi-final of the European Shield - and, following our 23-10 win over Montpellier at the weekend, we are now concentrating one hundred per cent on our European objectives.
"This match will be very tight and is particularly important as it gives us a chance to seek revenge over Bayonne who recently beat us at home.
"Our coaches will certainly be looking to put out our strongest team because victory in a semi-final against Bayonne will not come easily!
"Bayonne have a very strong pack and we are well aware of the high quality of players we are facing, playing a team that boasts names such as Daniel Larrechea, who has a fantastic kicking game, and Laleaoa Milford, who is a big threat to us on the wing.
"We are not particularly worried about not having home advantage as the significance of home advantage is over-estimated.
"Everyone's expecting it to be a big, physical forwards game, but, in a match between Auch and Bayonne, what else can you expect?"
