David Auradou will lead Stade Francais Paris out at Kingsholm on Sunday afternoon knowing quarter-final qualification - and a possible high ranking position - are in their hands as they head Gloucester by a clear five points.
"Whatever happens, this will be an epic game," said the French lock.
"We got the victory we wanted - and the bonus point - against Cardiff Blues and we are in a strong position in the Pool with one match remaining.
"However, Gloucester is a massive English club, there will be a hostile atmosphere and we will have to do whatever it takes to win."
Stade Francais Paris were in touching distance of lifting the cup in 2001 before Leicester Tigers snatched it from their grasp and they have qualified for the knock-out stages in all five of their previous seasons in the tournament.
"We are going to England looking for a victory because we want a home quarter-final," said coach Fabien Galthie. "But we have to be careful because Gloucester are also playing for qualification."
"We carried out a very clean operation against Cardiff, though obviously Ulster helped us by beating Gloucester. We have a small margin at the top of the Pool which may prove vital in our qualification. We have some players back for next week's game and we have no new injuries."
