Simon Raiwalui, the Saracens captain, takes his club to Brive for the Second Leg of their European Challenge Cup quarter-final on Sunday with a 13-point cushion after their First Leg clash at Vicarage Road.
Saracens hope that mercurial French star threequarter Thomas Castaignede might be fit following a calf injury while fellow French Test player hooker Raphael Ibanez is on the way back from a knee operation as they prepare for the trip to the home of the 1997 Heineken Cup champions.
And with the tournament winner collecting the prize of an automatic Heineken Cup place next season to go with the magnificent European Challenge Cup trophy, the quarter-finals are providing some tight contests.
"We are under no illusions as to how tough it's going to be, but we are going there with the intention of winning," said Raiwalui.
"They are very good team though, and we are going to have to play to our full potential to get a result.
"It went pretty well in the First Leg and, if it wasn't for a few dropped balls, it could have been even more points. We had a lot of the ball and put a lot of pressure on them, but they were quite potent as well and could have scored a few tries themselves.
"But we stuck in there and it was great to come away having not conceded a try."
