"We have got a stage where we definitely want to win this competition, but our performances in the last two weeks have made it harder for us to do that. We have to pick up our performance.
"We have a lot of very experienced players in our squad and we are all agreed that if we play like that again in the knock-out stages, we aren't going to get anywhere.
"We've got to get our heads together and find out what's going wrong. It's a matter of building on what we have achieved and becoming more positive."
Munster will have to wait until the completion of Sunday's Pool matches to know whether or not hey will be at home in the quarter-finals. If they slip below the number four ranking then few teams are going to relish hosting them when the tournament returns in April.
