Worcester travel to Italy for Friday night's European Shield quarter-final Second Leg match against Leonessa with coach Andy Keast looking for a step up in performance from his Zurich Premiership side.
Keast accepts that a 26-points First Leg advantage puts Worcester in the driving seat for a semi-final place but the coach wants his team to provide a better display in the Second Leg.
"We did not play all that well last weekend while Leonessa played with a lot of fire," he said.
"They proved to be a dogged side who worked extremely hard in defence and over there at their ground they will probably be reasonably confident.
"But we should win the return fixture - I will certainly be very disappointed if we don't manage to do that - and once you are in the semi-finals anything can happen. There will also be the chance for the
semi-finalists to register additional players, and that will be a major boost for us if we qualify.
"However, with players on their way back from injury, we should have a stronger side out on Friday than the one that played in the First Leg."
