Each shirt will be signed and united with its new owner after Saints' Powergen Cup quarter-final against Leeds Tykes on Saturday, January 22.
Head coach Budge Pountney said: "Our supporters' generosity was not an entire surprise but the amount of money raised has completely astounded us. There was one young boy called Sam Marshall who brought his entire Christmas money of £50 and just put it in one of the buckets. That was just one story of many like that. We are really proud of the way our supporters reacted and with the way the players' wives and partners and members of the Saints Supporters' Club rushed around selling tickets."
