Leeds Tykes director of rugby Phil Davies is targeting a place in the European Shield final for his ambitious club - and a first European trophy for his side.
But before his players get ahead of themselves, Davies will be calling for a huge effort in Sunday's home leg of their quarter-final shoot-out with Italin team Petraca Padova.
"We have struggled in our previous two visits to Italy, so we need to make sure that we give ourselves the best chance of progressing from the home leg. This game sees us with a great opportunity to progress in a major Cup competition and we must make the most of our home advantage," said Davies.
"Padova will present us with a tough challenge. They may not have been in the best of form recently in their domestic competition, but they will be proud to be representing Italian rugby in England and will be up for a big performance.
"We want to go as far as possible in this competition - and hopefully that means reaching the final. We're certainly going to give it our best shot.
"But to do that we need to make sure we prepare for every Euroepan Shield game like we do for a Zurich Premiership. We must keep up our intensity to the right level.
"We picked up another couple of injuries during the week, which has meant we have had to shuffle a couple of positions, although I'm delighted to have Diego Albanese available for selection again after missing the last six games. We've also got David Rees nearing full fitness after a couple of appearances off the bench."
