The match between Cardiff Blues and the third placed Italian team for the final place in the Heineken Cup 2005 / 2006 tournamernt will be played at Stadio Invernici, Brescia, on Sunday, 29 May (kick-off 18.00 local time).
The play-off match will be televised live by Sky Italia. Cardiff Blues were the highest placed non-Heineken Cup qualifying team from Wales, Scotland and Ireland in the 2004 / 2005 Celtic League.
The Italian team will be the beaten semi-finalist who finished in the higher position in the Italian Top 10 regular season. The semi-finals will be played on the weekend of 21 / 22 May.
