Toulon have turned to youth team coach Aubin Heuber to help reverse their fortunes after a slow start to the season.
Hueber has been made forwards coach following the departure today of Jean-Jacques Crenca.
Crenca, a former French international, has paid the price the losing run that sees Toulon in the bottom half of the Top 14 Orange table.
Saturday's 17-21 home defeat to Castres Olympique was the fifth successive defeat for Toulon in all competitions.
Toulon have only won twice at Mayol this season and were hammered 3-56 by Northampon Saints in the opening round of the European Challenge Cup, despite high pre-season expectations following the sigature of All Blacks star Jerry Collins, and rugby league convert Sonny Bill Williams.
