Bristol's win at Harlequins on Saturday at the Twickenham Stoop means that the team are still well and truly in the hunt for a quarter final spot with this weekend's return fixture a crucial one.
The three tries to none victory was a memorable one and is, in fact, the only away win in Group 3 so far this campaign after three rounds.
Bristol meet Harlequins in the second leg of the 'double header' at the Memorial Stadium and a win would see Richard Hill and the team travel to Paris in January to meet Stade Francais with at least 12 points and their qualification chances in their own hands.
And Head Coach Richard Hill knows just how crucial home advantage could be this weekend as he told the media after the game:
"To score three tries down here was an excellent effort. We hadn't won away from home in any competition for some time, Northampton back in January in fact, so this was a big result for us."
"It was so important to get a result today. We're a club that's building on and off the field and we need to attract big crowds to help that building process."
"What we need now is to have the Memorial Stadium packed full of Bristolians on Sunday to make life as uncomfortable as possible for Harlequins and hopefully cheer us on to victory."
Bristol Rugby CEO David White hopes that the Bristol Rugby public will be there in force to back the team:
"Richard (Hill) has often said that the crowd at the Memorial Stadium act as a 16th man for the team and we really need that 16th man this weekend."
"We've taken a huge step forward by winning at the Stoop. We're the only team to win away from in our group so far. Our destiny is in our own hands and turning the Memorial Stadium into a cauldron this weekend can only help."
"It's going to be a big occasion and having a big crowd behind us will be superb."
