Albi's Samoan backrow forward Daniel Farani will miss the forthcoming European fortnight with a knee injury he sustained last Saturday.
Farani left the field of play after 25 minutes before his side were beaten 33-12 by Toulouse.
And to compound the club's woes Farini was ruled out for up to three weeks. This means he will play no part in the back-to-back battles with Bath Rugby.
This is a further blow to a player who just recovered from a torn hamstring and made his competitive return in the recent clash against ASM Clermont Auvergne.
The former New Zealand Coastal Sharks flanker signed for Albi after their promotion to the Top 14 in 2006, extended his contract last February for two extra seasons.
Albi are currently 10th in the Top 14 after four rounds.
