ERC can confirm that the Federation Française de Rugby (FFR) has withdrawn its application to host the 2014 Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup finals, due to the ongoing uncertainty regarding the availability of the Stade de France.
They have to go to Ravenhill next weekend looking to repeat the quality of the ball handling and style of play.
"You cannot win the Heineken Cup by Christmas but you can lose it and we are still in with a shout, we just need to keep the pressure on Gloucester even though we are chasing," said Jones.
"I was really pleased with the performance, tonight was a good night. Our second try was as good as the one we scored in the 87th minute to beat Sale here, one of the best we have scored at the Liberty Stadium.
"We have been plugging away for a couple of months trying to create and standard and people turned up for that tonight. We have got to take that on board and move on.
"Last week we saw the semblance of high quality rugby against Harlequins and we were delighted with the victory and the manner of our play - things are building slowly and that was strong again today.
"We have got to go to Ravenhill and put a performance in. Rugby is about confidence and where Ulster are now is where we were four years ago.
"It is a horrible place to be when nothing is going right and nobody can put a finger on it. You just have to keep working hard and hope luck bounces your way."
