Mike Catt would have been happy with a point from Rodney Parade, hoped for a win and four points, but was delighted to have the added cream on top of a five point victory.
His London Irish side top Pool One after the six try demolition of Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade, their first ever away win in the Heineken Cup by the comfortable margin of 45-17.

"We really prepared for a tough battle because we would have been happy to get an away point from here, so to get five points is pretty special for us really," he said.
"Everything we did was spot on, we used the wind well in the first half, the guys chased well and there were good opportunist tries - we were always there.
"You are never in control of a Heineken Cup group, but it puts us in a good position and we are happy with what we have done.
"To get five points away from home in the Heineken Cup is something not many sides will do, so it does take the weight off our shoulders a little bit but we are only two games into the competition.
"It is vital we take the next step and today will give us that confidence we can take the next step up and compete with the really big teams in Europe but we still have lots to learn.
"We know how tough it is in Wales, it is unbelievable for us to pick up the five points here - we would never have expected it.
"The past two games have been brilliant for us and hopefully we can build from it."
