Albi have been plunged into an injury crisis ahead of their back-to-back European Challenge Cup Pool 1 clashes with Bath Rugby.
The 1998 Heineken Cup winners travel to Albi for their Round 3 showdown on Friday, 7 December with the French club hard hit by the absences of captain and back row ace Vincent Clement and scrum half Kevin Boulogne.
Clement was injured early in the second half of last Saturday night's Top 14 game against ASM Clermont Auvergne and was carried off on a stretcher.
The Albi captain, who sustained a neck injury and must undergo further medical tests, will be unavailable for at least three weeks according to coach Éric Béchu.
Boulogne has had surgery on a wrist injury suffered against Overmach Rugby Parma in Round 1 of the European Challenge Cup and will be out for three to four months.
