Bristol and Sale Sharks have announced that Jason Hobson and Andrew Sheridan have extended their contracts. While Newcastle Falcons will welcome the "All Black" star Carl Hayman on Wednesday next.
The English prop Jason Hobson have extended his contract for another three years with Bristol and will wear the blue jersey untill at least 2011. The 24 years old, arrived from Exeter in 2003 and has participated three Heineken Cup games for Bristol.
Bristol are third in Pool 3 of the Heineken Cup.
Another contract extension announced this week sees Andrew Sheridan renaiming at Sale. The international prop (19 caps with the English team) won the 2005 European Challenge Cup with the Sharks and has decided to continue the adventure with Philippe St Andre's team for three years with an option for a fourth.
Sale Sharks are top of Pool 4 with ten points in the European Challenge Cup.
Carl Hayman who is considered to be one of the best props in the world, will arrive in Newcastle on Wednesday, 28 November, where an open training session will be organised to welcome him. Coming from the New Zealand team Otago Highlanders, Carl Hayman has forty five caps with the "All Blacks" and will soon experience the European Challenge Cup along side Johnny Wilkinson and his other teammates.
In the third round of the Heineken Cup Bristol will travel to London to face Harlequins on Saturday, 8 December. Sale and Newcastle will play away as well for the third round of the European Challenge Cup. Sale will go to Bayonne on Saturday, 8 December and Newcastle to Connacht on Friday, 7 December.
