Dallaglio lead his side out to defend the crown they won in May and was an instrumental figure in a tight first half.

Dallaglio said, "Who said the Northern Hemisphere can't play rugby?
"It's great that this competition is back and it's going to be very touch in this pool. Munster threw everything at us and we were on the ropes, but we came through in the end."
The sides could only manage points via the boot in the first 20 minutes before Munster centre Rua Tipoki scored the game's first try.
And Munster may have thought that the ten-point lead they had going into the final half hour would have been enough of a lead to win them the match. Wasps had other ideas.
Munster Heineken Cup Alan Quinlan said: "We played pretty well, but they're a quality side and they punished us.
"We're absolutely gutted, but in the year we won the Cup, we lost to Sale in the first round, so we'll remember that. And we got a bonus point, which may be valuable."
