Scarlets match winner Rob McCusker played down his try-scoring heroics after the Welsh region downed high-flying London Irish.
The 24-year-old, who narrowly missed out on place in the Wales squad that toured North America last summer, crossed for a brace of tries within a four-minute spell as the Scarlets produced a stunning comeback.
McCusker's first effort was a fine solo score with just over an hour played, while his second required the assistance of the video referee who eventually gave what proved to a crucial seven-pointer.
But despite everyone else praising his impressive contribution, McCusker was far more modest in his own assessment.
"For the first one, the ball came out to me, Peter Hewat slipped over and I managed to outrun the cover and flop over the line," was McCusker's understated view of a quite brilliant individual effort.
"The second one was a great offload from Deacon Manu. I was just five metres out. I had bit of work to do but I managed to flop over again."
The 31-22 win keeps the Scarlets' hopes of Heineken Cup qualification, albeit only just.
But while they still require a bonus-point win in Brive and a number of other results to go their way to reach the last eight of Europe's premier tournament, they now have a decent chance of making it through to the quarter finals of the Amlin Challenge Cup.
And McCusker admits that progressing in either competition would be a huge boost for a young Scarlets side looking to make a real impression in European rugby.
"We'd never given up on qualification. Mathematically we can still do it," added McCusker.
"It does give us confidence. Within these four walls, we know what we're all about.
"A lot of us have been together for a number of years now, with age-group and academy. You just have to look at the likes of Munster - they're all a similar age and have come through together over a few years. There are possibilities for us as a young side.
"There's some great teams in the Amlin Challenge Cup so if we could do well in that and win it, it would do endless good for the confidence of the boys.
"It's a bit too soon to say, but that's the kind of success we're building for."
