Trio in doubt for Toulon

Philippe Saint Andre's men travel to Vicarage Road knowing victory would seal a quarter-final berth but they may have to do so without a trio of second row and back row stars.

Skipper Joe van Niekerck and in-form Argentina captain Juan Martin Fernadez Lobbe are doubtful for the trip to England after both players picked up ankle injuries at the weekend.

Van Niekerck and Fernandez Lobbe will both be assessed later today and a decision on their fitness will be made later in the week.

Definitely missing from the Round 5 encounter is South African lock Ross Skeate after he sustained a slight tear to his medial ligament during Saturday's 18-7 victory over Montauban.

Toulon currently top Pool 3 thanks to four successive tournament wins, including a 31-23 triumph over Sarries in Week 2.

Another win this time out would ensure their English rivals would be unable to close gap at the head of the pool, regardless of the result of the final weekend of action.
