Leeds Carnegie travel to Castres Olympique for their Pool 5 showdown determined not just to stay in quarter-final contention but to shoot for a home tie in the process.
Leeds are two points clear of Castres and have already won on the road in France by doing the double over Dax, scrum half Joe Bedford declaring: "The big thing in this competition is to win away from home and having narrowly won in Dax by three points we know what we have to do.
"We are in a strong position but now we have to finish it off by beating Castres again - we have to go there and get the win to top the Pool. It is a big challenge and, despite the quick turnaround with a Thursday game, one we relish.
"We are most certainly not going there looking for a bonus point or anything like that. We are going there with the intent of getting a win.
"However, they are a class side with two extremely experienced props in All Blacks Kees Meeuws and Carl Hoeft plus England international Phil Christophers in the backs. They are a sharp team with quality across the park and will obviously be out to try and turn us over big style after we beat them in Round 1 at Headingley.
"We have been playing well in the European Challenge Cup, which is a great competition, and a home quarter-final would be fantastic as we are determined to go as far as possible in the tournament."
