Brive have confirmed that France international lock Arnaud Mela has signed a three year contract and will join the club at the end of the season.
Mela , who is currently with Albi, made his international debut against Ireland in the Six Nations after getting a call up to replace the injured Pascal Papé.
"I have been in touch with Laurent Seigne at Brive over the last few months and I am very excited by the club's plans for the future. There are also some exciting opportunities for me at Brive" said the 28 year old forward.
Mela is the second player this week to join the 1997 Heineken Cup champions following yesterday's announcement that Arnaud Pic will move south from ASM Clermont Auvergne.
Brive will play Sale Sharks in the European Challenge Cup quarter-finals on Friday, 4th April at 7.30 pm (local time).
