ERC have reported a surge of Heineken Cup final ticket sales following confirmation of the 2008 quarter-finals, and only 1,000 tickets remain of the public allocation for the final in May.
Tickets for the 13th Heineken Cup final, to played at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday, 24 May, 2008, went on public sale in June 2007 through Ticketmaster and the "club cashback" initiative.
With four months to European showpiece final, only 1,000 tickets of the total public allocation of 50,000 remain and these are expected to be snapped up shortly.
ERC reserve an additional 15,000 to be distributed between both sets of fans of the finalists with the remaining tickets for the74,000 capacity Millennium Stadium allocated to tournament partners, hospitality, promotion and to European rugby stakeholders.
The remaining public sale tickets are available through Ticketmaster (UK tel: 08448471530, outside UK 0044 208 6165111 and through www.ticketmaster.co.uk). Tickets are priced at £20, £35, £45, £50 and £55 with concession prices for juniors at £22, £24, £32 (booking fee applies).
