Montpellier back row Louis Picamoles has been added to the French squad as a replacement for the injured ASM Clermont Auvergne forward Elvis Vermulen.
Vermulen will be out of action for between four and six weeks after fracturing his rib in the France's RBS Six Nations opener in Murrayfield.
French Head Coach Marc Lievremont has called up the Montpellier number eight Picamole who will now feature in the replacements for the French team to play Ireland on Saturday along side two other Montpellier players, Fulgence Ouadraogo, named at seven and François Trinh-Duc on the bench.
Montpellier have qualified for the 2007/2008 European Challenge Cup quarter-finals and will travel to Worcester on Saturday, 5 April (ko 3pm) for the must win game.
If Montpellier overcome the English side in the quarter-final they will earn the right to host the winners of Newcastle Falcons and Castres Olympique in the European Challenge Cup semi-finals.
