The former Australia international lock Justin Harrison will leave Ulster to join the European Challenge Cup quarter-finalists Bath Rugby at the end of the season in a one year contract.
Harrison, who has earned 34 international caps with Australia, joined Ulster in 2005 and was part of the 2006 Magners League winning team. In his three seasons at Ravenhill the forward made a total of 16 Heineken Cup appearances.
The 33 year old is looking forward to his move to the Recreation Ground, a stadium he discovered ten years ago on tour with the Brumbies: "Bath Rugby is a club that is steeped in tradition and the Recreation Ground is one of the most picturesque and unique settings in world rugby. I have great memories of playing on the ground some ten years ago on my first professional tour with the Brumbies," he said.
Ulster Rugby also confirmed this week that former Ireland international prop forward Justin Fitzpatrick (26 Ireland caps) has signed a new two year contract with the province.
Fitzpatrick won the Heineken Cup with Ulster in 1999 and this season earned an ERC Elite award for having played in more than 50 Heineken Cup games.
The 34 year old will stay at Ravenhill until at least 2010.
