Albi will play their final Pool matches without scrum half Sébastien Pagès.
They play Auch and Overmach Parma in Rounds 5 and six, but will do it without Pagès who is sidelined for three months with a broken jaw and underwent surgery on December 28
This loss of Pagès is a big blow for Sporting Club Albigeois as his absence means they have no recognised scrum halves available.
His usual replacement, Kevin Boulogne, will be out for another two months as he recovers from an operation to his scaphoid bone (hand/wrist).
Centre Thomas Sanchou is likely to hold the interim position in the meantime. The club is now waiting to see whether the LNR will authorise the young Lionel Saintenac to play in the First XV in order to solve the situation.
