Leinster coach Michael Cheika admits his side are up against it in their hopes or trying to make the Heineken Cup quarter-finals.
But after what he called a poor performance in Edinburgh, he vowed to try to put things right for the Leinster supporters in time for their next game against Toulouse in Dublin.
Leinster have now lost two games in this group and slipped five points behind group leaders Toulouse, following their 29-10 reverse at Murrayfield.

"I do not think we can make it from here," admitted Cheika. "We have got lots of supporters we let down and we have to make sure we look after them come the next match which is in Dublin. I feel for them as much as the players.
"We did not do it for them and I want to make sure they get paid back - and they will be, before the season is out.
"We did not have any penetration in our game, we could not penetrate the line through forward play or back play on enough occasions and then we made too many mistakes.
"It is disappointing because so far it has been a decent year, we have had some good results, but in the tournament so far we have not put enough of a step forward to present ourselves through what was always going be a hard group.
"We played well in the first game, let ourselves down in the second game, did not put our foot on the gas enough in the third game and played poorly in the fourth game.
"We have got to accept the criticism we will take from that, from ourselves more than anyone else because we want to play well and win - no-one will be more disappointed than us.
"They played well, they have improved a lot, it is not just about us because there are two sides trying to win and we have always considered them a good side."
