Martyn Williams says he is looking forward to Cardiff Blues' away tie at Toulouse in the Heineken Cup quarter final.
The Blues, who led 17-0 with over half an hour remaining in the Pool 3 decider against Bristol, needed just one more converted try to claim a home draw against the French giants but it was not to be and man-of-the-match Williams was satisfied with his days work.
He said: ''Every one of the boys stood up today including those who came off the bench and we played some great stuff in the first half. Had we got a few more tries then we could have gone further but if at the start of the game you'd offered us 17-0 we'd have bitten your hand off.
''We we're aware that we needed that third try but full credit has to go to Bristol who kept us out. We should have scored another try in the first half.''
"We're looking forward to the tie with Touloue, it's a match we can win."
Gareth Thomas agreed with Williams that the Blues had done all that could have been asked from them at the Memorial Ground.
He said: ''We had a game plan today and put it in to practice. We probably shot ourselves in the foot with a probably shot ourselves in the foot with a bad performance in Paris.
As for the return to his former side Toulouse, Thomas was unfazed:
''Bring it on. Toulouse is a beautiful place to go. Love it!''
