Lewis Moody has signed a two year contract extension with Heineken Cup 2007 runners up Leicester Tigers.
Moody made his Tigers debut in August 1996 and has 45 caps in the Heineken Cup where he scored nine tries. The English flanker has already won twice in 2001 and 2002 the European rugby's premier competition with the English team.
"I am thrilled to have added a further two years to my contract, having been at the club for over ten years now. All I wanted to do was to continue wearing the Leicester Tigers shirt and to bring further silverware to the Tigers," he said.
Moody has developed into a key player for Leicester and has captained several times the side this year.
Leicester are second in Pool 6 with nine points and will play a crucial game in Edinburgh in Round 5, on Saturday, 12 January at 3.30 pm.
