London Wasps will have to play their make of break matches with the Scarlets and Munster without hard-tackling Tom Voyce
The winger, whose is renowned for defensive abilities as well as attacking flair, will be out for up to three months after undergoing surgery on damaged knee ligaments.
The 26-year-old suffered the injury during last Saturday's 25-10 Premiership home win over Bath.
It is the first major injury to hit Voyce, who has made 146 appearances in his four-and-a-half seasons at Wasps.
Previously he played for Bath and has made 48 Europe appearances,
He played in both the 2003/4 and 2006/7 Heineken Cup finals with Wasps, raising the trophy on each occasion. Voyce
He won the most recent of his nine England caps in June 2006 but played for the England Saxons team in 2007.
