England and 2007 Heineken Cup winning Wasps fly-half Danny Cipriani looks set to return from injury in time for the Heineken Cup opener.
The 20 year-old versatile number 10 was sidelined in May following a fractured ankle dislocation during a Premiership match against Bath.
Last season's PRA Young Player of the Year hopes to make his return ironically against bath next weekend bringing him back into contention for Wasps Round 1 Pool 2 clash with Castres Olympique.
Cipriani's return would be a major boost for Premiership champions who have lost three from three in their campaign to retain the English title.
Looking forward to his long awaited return to action the young England star said, "It's going to be emotional. I will have to calm myself as I'll be very excited to play again."
