Munster wing Ian Dowling will play no part in his side's remaining Pool matches with ASM Clermont Auvergne and London Wasps
Dowling will be out of action for six to eight weeks after suffering medial ligament damage in the Magners League win over Connacht .
Dowling, who has been in impressive form in recent weeks, was stretchered off in the 76th minute of the game at Musgrave Park.
It means he will miss the Heineken Cup games against Clermont Auvergne and London Wasps and the Magners League trip to Edinburgh.
Munster are top of Pool 5 with 14 points from their four matches played.
