Munster hooker (No 2), Jerry Flannery and Alexandre Audebert, the ASM Clermont Auvergne flanker (No 7), have both lodged appeals against decisions of independent Disciplinary Committees.
Jerry Flannery Appeal
Jerry Flannery, the Munster hooker (No 2), has lodged an appeal against the decision of an independent Disciplinary Committee, which found him guilty of stamping on ASM Clermont Auvergne player Julien Bonnaire and suspended Mr Flannery for eight (8) weeks.
The original independent Disciplinary Committee hearing resulted from a citing arising from the Round 5 Heineken Cup Pool 5 match against ASM Clermont Auvergne at Parc des Sports Marcel-Michelin on Sunday, 13 January, 2008.
An independent Appeal Committee will be convened as soon as practicable.
Alexandre Audebert Appeal
Alexandre Audebert, the ASM Clermont Auvergne flanker (No 7), has lodged an appeal against the decision of an independent Disciplinary Committee, which found him guilty of stamping on Munster player Ronan O'Gara, and suspended Mr Audebert for eight (8) weeks.
The original independent Disciplinary Committee hearing resulted from a citing arising from the Round 5 Heineken Cup Pool 5 match against Munster at Parc des Sports Marcel-Michelin on Sunday, 13 January, 2008.
