Saracens Director of Rugby Alan Gaffney dared to dream of a place in the Heineken Cup quarter-finals after he watched his side demolish Biarritz Olympique on Saturday.
He said: "We're looking for a home tie in the knockout stages. When we've played Glasgow in the past it's always been a score in it.
We need to be ambitious to secure a home quarter-final and that's what we'll play for. Glasgow have a fantastic record. We know we have a hard task, but the rewards are enormous.''
Gaffney's side will only be denied a place in the final eight if next weekend's opponents, Glasgow Warriors, win with a bonus point and shut out Sarries.
But Gaffney will not be expecting that outcome after Saracens put 2006 Heineken finalists Biarritz to the sword at Vicerage Road.
The 45-16 defeat was the French side's largest ever European loss and afterwards Gaffney shot a glace towards April's quarter-finals
