The Cardiff Blues outside half Nick McLeod has signed a two year deal with the 2008 European Challenge Cup semi-finalist Sale Sharks.
McLeod started his career with Cardiff Blues in 2003 where he scored an impressive 76 points in his first six games with the region. In his five seasons at Cardiff, the versatile back has made 12 European appearances for the Blues scoring 28 points in the Heineken Cup.
In Sale, McLeod will meet up again with his former team-mate and school friend Lee Thomas: "I went to school with Lee and played alongside him at Cardiff Blues. I am really looking forward to joining Sale Sharks. I am hoping to make the trip up to Stockport in the coming weeks to meet up with the coaches and players," said the 25 year old.
Tickets are still available for the European Challenge Cup semi-final Bath Rugby v Sale Sharks on Saturday, 26 April at 12.30 pm at Recreation Ground.
