With less than 30 days to kick-off in Europe four Heineken Cups sides Stade Francais, London Wasps, Llaneli Scarlets and Rugby Calvisano lead the way in domestic action.
The 2005 Heineken Cup finalists Stade Francais Paris are the only team to have one hundred percent record in this season's French Top 14 championship. Fabien Galthie's side have won three games out of three including an impressive away victory over three time Heineken winners Toulouse.
The Parisians will start their Pool 3 Heineken Cup campaign away to Italian side Calvisano and will also face English champions Sale Sharks, and Justin Marshall's Ospreys.
In England the 2004 Heineken Cup champions London Wasps lead the way with three wins from three Premiership games. Wasps will face two French teams in Pool 1 of the Heineken Cup and will welcome Castres to London before games against Perpignan and Italian champions Benetton Treviso.
None of the eight Celtic teams in action in the Heineken Cup remain unbeaten in their domestic action after three and four games. Llaneli Scarlets currently top the Magners League with three wins from four games. The Welsh region will be hoping for continued form when they travel to London Irish in their Pool 5 Round 1 opener. Scarlets will also face two former Heineken Cup winners Ulster and Toulouse in the Pool stages.
In the Italian Super 10 championship Calvisano lead the charge with an impressive 10 points from two games. They are followed by Viadana, Treviso and GRAN Parma who have all won two from two. Heineken Cup newcomers Overmach Rugby Parma have 6 points from two games with one victory and two bonus points earned. Parma will play their first Heineken Cup match away to Border Reivers in Round 1 and will also face Saints and French champions Biarritz Olympique.
Round 1 of the 12th Heineken Cup kicks-off on Friday, 20 October. See Fixtures & Results for more details
