New Zealand All Black international Marty Holah has signed for the Ospreys and is aiming for Heineken glory.
The 30-year-old back row forward has signed a three year contract with the Magners League champions, committing himself to the Welsh region until the end of the 2009/2010 season.
The Hamilton born Holah has won 36 caps for the All Blacks with his last appearance being against South Africa in September.
The open side flanker is moving from the Waikato Chiefs and will arrive in Wales in mid to late October.
Looking forward to his move to the Ospreys, "I am excited by the new challenge that awaits me in playing for the Ospreys and playing in Europe. The Ospreys have put together a very formidable side over the last few years, and to win the Magners League twice in three years speaks for itself. I was also impressed during my conversations with Mike Cuddy and Lyn Jones at the ambition that the Club has, particularly to win the Heineken Cup. Having come from a region like Waikato where we have had some good success recently, but are still looking to get better, that was an important factor in making my decision. I am looking forward to joining the team for the first round of the Heineken Cup and settling in to life in Wales."
Ospreys will kick-off their Pool 2 Heineken Cup campaign at home to Bourgoin on Saturday 10 November and will also face Gloucester Rugby and Ulster
