Newcastle Falcons and England back Toby Flood will join Leicester Tigers when he returns from the summer tour.
The 22-year-old, who has already accumulated 17 international caps and a world cup final appearance, will join the double champions Tigers in the Heineken Cup next season having spent his first four season's with Newcastle Falcons.
The Surrey native is looking forward to a new challenge with the Tigers commenting "I'm sad to leave home and to leave Newcastle where I have very fond memories, but at this stage of my rugby career a new challenge is very important. Leicester is a world-class club and the ambition of the club is very exciting for me".
The utility back will join fellow Falcon Ben Woods who has also agreed a move to Welford Road for the 2008 / 09 season.
