Scarlets heading home at Walkers, but Tigers are just the ticket

...but it is the Leicester Tigers who are just ahead in the race to sell the most tickets for the game.

While Tigers fans have snapped up almost 15,000 tickets for a game that is only an Andy Goode punt away from their own Welford Road ground, their Scarlet counterparts have broken through the 10,000 barrier. It means that when sponsor, broadcaster and corporate hospitality allocations are taken into account, a mere 5,000 of the 32,000 capacity remains to be filled.

Northampton Saints are currently outselling London Wasps by two-to-one in the tickets stakes for the semi-final clash of the former winners clash at Coventry's Ricoh Stadium.

It will be the first time that rugby union has been played at the home of Coca-Cola Championship soccer side Coventry City and sports fans from Coventry will get an opportunity to sample the Heineken Cup big match experience as tickets for the game between go on public sale at the Ricoh Stadium today (Friday, 13 April) and from www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

While Wasps granted Northampton the 'Home' dressing room at the Ricoh Stadium, referee Alan Lewis had to toss a coin to decide who would have choice of kit because of a clash of colours. Wasps won and will wear their traditional black jersey, while the Saints will march onto the field wearing away jersey.

They are priced at £45, £35 and £25 with concessions for under 16s at £13.
