Perpignan set their sights on Heineken Cup quarter-final victory this weekend by beating Bourgoin away from home by the narrowest of margins.
The 2003 Heineken cup runners up beat Bourgoin 9-10 in their fortress Stade Pierre Rajon ground to record a win that will boost confidence ahead of the battle with London Irish on Saturday.
The Catalans were able to welcome Perry Freshwater back into the squad after an absence of several weeks due to a shoulder injury.
The win puts Perpignan into 4th place and contention for a semi final playoff position.
They also managed to avoid picking up any more injuries so look to be facing London Irish with a full-strength side with the exception of fly half Steve Meyer who is still out with a knee injury.
