France centre Yannick Jauzion believes Toulouse's tough run into the quarter-finals with games against Stade Francais and Brive will stand to the three-time champions when they face Cardiff at the Millennium Stadium.
The current French champions defeated Stade Francais 15 to 11 on Saturday in Top 14 action and travel to fifth place Brive this weekend before their trip to the Millennium Stadium for their ninth Heineken Cup quarter-final appearance on Saturday, 11 April.
Speaking to Rugbyrama.com the double Heineken Cup winner and international centre said, "The Stade Français match was a very good preparation for use for the game against Cardiff.
It was a tough game and there was a lot of intensity from both sides. We really had to fight to win. Next weekend's away trip to Brive will be also good for us. Brive are currently in very good form and they will not be easy to beat in front of their supporters. It's always good for the team to play high level games before a Heineken Cup quarter-final. "
Head Coach Guy Noves is expected to take the opportunity to rest some key players this weekend with international back row Thierry Dusautoir and prop Benoit Lecouls set to be left out of the squad.
